Red X

Disclaimer:Teen Titans is owned by Warner Bros. and DC.

Well hello again! This weeks post is about one of the most interesting topics in Teen Titans: Red X

Red X was an alter ego made by Robin to uncover the secrets hidden by Slade. He ultimately failed and locked the Red X suit away forever. Or so he thought. In the episode "X" we see that Red X appears again. This time although,It is not Robin. This is where we start off. Who is Red X?

Some of the viewers think that it is just an outer character. Most though (including myself) believe it to be Jason Todd. There are clues that point towards X being Todd.

Fighting Skills:
Although this is animation,it could be that the writers intended for Robin and X's fighting skills to be similar as displayed in the episode "X"' . Also, their motor skills as displayed in "Revved Up" are very similar. Could this be because they were trained by the same mentor? Hm.

Beastboy's Board:
In the episode "X" after the Titans battled Red X, they returned to their tower to discuss their encounter with him. The main question arises: Who is he? Beastboy brought out a board with his various hypothesis with who the culprit might be. On the board, there displayed briefly, can you see the name Jason Todd present with a mini representation of Todd.

Red X:Anti Hero
Robin and X have had various confrontations. In one Red X stated: "Not everybody likes to play the big villain, kid. I'm a thief. I'm not threatening your precious city, just looking out for number one." To which Robin replies: "So you're not psychotic, just selfish." The point to this is,X is neither a villain nor a hero. Anti hero more like it. Jason Todd, took up the persona as Red Hood. He to was an anti hero.

So there you have it,these are just a few reasons of why I believe that Red X is Jason Todd. Oh and one more thing. "Red X" "Red Hood",coincidence? I think not.

Thank you for reading! Adios!

Teen Titans Go?

Disclaimer:Teen Titans is owned by Warner Bros. and DC.

Cartoon Network is airing a new series called: "Teen Titans Go!" This show is the spinoff version of the Teen Titans show Cartoon Network previously aired during the years of 2003-2006. This new show is has all new animation, different genre, and is aimed for a much younger audience. It seems to be a show that many people would enjoy. The problem? Many people are not happy with the new series. Why? Well.....

New Animation:
The old Teen Titans series, and the new Teen Titans Go! series are very different when it comes to animation. In the new show, the characters are more cartoonish. This contrasts the much more structured figures of the old characters.

New Genre:
While the old show focused more on serious issues such as crime fighting and defeating villains, the new version is simply about all the wild and crazy things that happen in a household of superheroes without any adult supervision. Although it does act to add a comedic effect, many are disappointed at the lack of a serious plot line.

New Everything!:
By this...I mean so much has changed! Although this is not supposed to be a continuation of the original Teen Titans, there is barely any reference to their comic counterparts. In an episode involving Trigon, there is a scene where Cyborg and Beastboy are remembering what is was like with their fathers (or rather Cyborg was). Cyborg remembered playing with his father...who was a toaster. Yep. A toaster. To all those fans...including myself...we were offended.

Teen Titans Go! ,although a comedic show, does not compare to the original. Don't take my word for it though. The show airs with new episodes on Tuesday nights on Cartoon Network.
